What is the Rowan Pod all about?

The Rowan Pod

Glamping takes on a whole new meaning after you have stayed in this Romantic Hideaway.

Beautiful and Quirky for 2 people in either a twin or double bed layout. The beds turn into a place to relax during the day with the bench seats and small table. 

Well insulated so great all the year round. It has underfloor heating throughout, plus an extra infra red wall heater for the depths of winter, mood lighting, Smart TV, sound system, small fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster plus a BBQ hut for cooking in all weathers and a lovely hot tub providing the Total Camping/Glamping Experience with Style!

Inside the Rowan Pod

The bench style seating for during the day, alters into your bed at night.  The bedding is stored underneath the seats.

There is a 24 inch Smart TV and iPod docking station with speakers.  Led lighting and Mood lighting add to the ambience.  

There is underfloor heating throughout and an additional wall mounted infra-red heater for during the winter months.  The main door is a stable door so you can open the top part of the door and enjoy the fresh air.

Galley Kitchen at the Pod

There is a small galley style kitchen area with a circular sink and a small fridge, kettle and toaster.

Perfect for a continental style breakfast as the main cooking will be in your own BBQ hut.  There is a cupboard next to the sink with hanging room.  Outside, in the Green Shed, there is an additional fridge with a small freezer box section, and a microwave.  

Shower Room

There is an ensuite shower room with a small washbasin, wall mounted loo and a shower with plenty of hot water.  There is also a glass front cupboard in the shower room which houses a shaver socket.

Outside the Shower Room is a heated towel rail.  Bath towels and face towels are provided with toiletries.  There is also a  hairdryer.

Rowan Hot Tub at Night

Out side there is a lovely hot tub, the BBQ hut, tables and chairs, sun loungers and lots of space!

Robes, Leisure Towels and Slippers are provided for the hot tub, which is check twice daily, to keep you super safe.  

If you take a stroll across the grass opposite you will find a shared Laundry Room.  This is shared with the Hawthorn Pod and there is room for outdoor clothes, wet boots etc.  There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. 

BBQ Hut

The BBQ hut is lit by fairy lights and there is everything you need to cook up a scrumptious meal, whatever the weather. Or just sit by the glow of the charcoal and enjoy the warmth.

1 x 3 kg bag of Dorset charcoal is provided and extra can be purchased from the Farm Shop.  There is a flat pan for mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, omelettes etc and saucepans for potatoes, casseroles, boiling vegetables.

Lots of space for barbecuing meat, sausages, haggis, bacon, fish, toast, crumpets, marshmallows etc.

There are also some board games!
