The Ramsay

The two bedroom lodge is ideal for families, couples who like that extra room, or a small group of friends.

What makes The Ramsay Lodge so special?

When you enter the Ramsay Lodge, you will be blown away by the beautiful views from the full length windows in the living room. There is a patio door opening onto a raised decking area.

You can step out of the patio door onto the decking which extends along the side and front of the Ramsay Lodge. There are two different seating areas on this decking offering either sunshine or shade.

The views change constantly with the weather and are fascinating to watch at any time of the year.

It was the perfect getaway for our family and what we were looking for - somewhere tranquil, with not too many people around, surrounded by nature and the clearest view of the night sky. The lodge and all the facilities were absolutely spotless, I don’t think we’ve ever stayed anywhere so clean and well maintained. We would stay here again without hesitation, in fact I know we will.

The Ramsay Living Room

The open plan living area with its amazing views, has a lovely deep 3 seater sofa, an additional chair plus a snuggler chair to curl up in on your own, or with another!

When you are not taking in the views, there are book shelves with books and games, Samsung Smart television, sound system and excellent WiFi.

There is gas central heating throughout which is controlled by thermostats on the radiators.

Dining at the Ramsay Lodge

The dining area has a beautiful oak dining table which seats 4 comfortably. There are views to the front and side from the dining table.

The fitted kitchen has an undercounted fridge, a dishwasher, a gas hob and a double electric oven. There is a combined fridge and freezer in the utility room with a Miele washing machine, a microwave, iron and ironing board.

Master Bedroom

Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a walk in Raindance Shower and a luxurious deep soaking bath. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and underfloor heating.

The second bedroom, which can be split into a twin room, has a walk in Raindance Shower.

Both bedrooms have SuperKing size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows. Super soft Bath Sheet, Hand and Face Towels, Robes, Slippers, Hairdryers, plus toiletries are all provided.

Hot Tub at the Ramsay

Outside on the rear decking, there is a stunning 4 seater hot tub, outside seating and a Webber BBQ, with view across the Lammermuir Hills. There is an outside drying area.

Leisure towels, robes and slippers are provided for use with the hot tub.

On the front decking there is a large round table with 4 chairs and round the corner there is another table and two chairs, so you can catch the sun at any time of the day. You will also find a couple of sun loungers during the warmer weather.
