The Buchanan Lodge

This lovely spacious  lodge has a warm welcoming feel at any time of the year.

There are 3 bedrooms, each with Super Kingsize beds.  The two downstairs bedrooms, have ensuite shower rooms and there are two steps down from the main living area to the bedrooms.  

The upstairs bedroom, again with a Super Kingsize bed, can be split into a twin room and there is an ensuite bathroom with a deep soaking bath and a hand held hair shower head.  This bedroom has coombed ceilings and perfect for children!

Living and Dining at the Buchanan

When you enter this beautiful lodge, there is a little entrance porch with room to hang your outdoor coats etc, and a  cloakroom off it.  Then you enter the spacious  living area with stunning floor to ceiling windows and a patio door out onto the raised decking area which runs round two side of the  lodge.

There are two sumptuous 4 seater sofas and a large 6 seater dining table.  The stairs lead to the upstairs bedroom through a small galleried landing area.  

There is full central heating throughout controlled by the thermostats on the radiators.

Kitchen at the Buchanan

There is a well equipped spacious kitchen with a double electric oven and a gas hob plus a microwave.  Built in fridge and dishwasher with an additional full size fridge/freezer in the Utility Room.  There is also a washing machine in the Utility Room with an iron and ironing board.

The open plan arrangement of the kitchen, dining and living areas means that no one is left alone in the kitchen!   Plus of course you still benefit from the amazing views.

Buchanan Bedroom

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, with two steps down from the living area.  Both have their own ensuite shower room with  heated towel rails and underfloor heating.  Bedding is Egyptian cotton and duvets and pillows etc are all hypo-allergenic.  

Toiletries are provided with super soft Bath Sheets, Hand and Face Towels plus robes, slippers and a hairdryer in each bedroom.

Studio Bedroom

Upstairs wander through the door off the small galleried landing into the Studio Bedroom.  This room has coombed ceilings so  it low at the sides.  The bed is either a Super Kingsize double or can be split into twins.  This room is very popular with children.

There is an ensuite bathroom with a deep bath and a hand held hair shower head.  

Hot tub at the Buchanan

Outside, of course there is the stunning 6 seater hot tub with views of the rolling countryside and the wildlife.  There are lots of different tables and chairs so that you can make the most of the sunshine.

The top decking is gated so safe for dogs and children, with steps down to the lower decking with the hot tub.

Leisure towels, slippers and bathrobes are provided for use with the hot tub, which is check twice a day.
