Following theFirst Minister's statement on Sunday the 22nd March, we are now closed to guests for at least the next month. If you have an existing booking during this period we will be in touch. However, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are taking new bookings for arrival from June onwards and full cancellation insurance will be included with each booking so lets look forward to better times. Stay Safe from the Airhouses Team.
The Airhouses team understand that you might have concerns about travelling away from home at this difficult time. But we want to reassure you that we will do everything to protect you during your stay in our secluded country lodges.
Firstly, we've arranged things so that you won't need to interact with anyone else during you visit (more on that to follow).
Secondly, we've taken expert government advice and now have the following four Protection Promises in place:
For your peace of mind, any bookings made since 1st December 2019 are covered for cancellation for any reason.
If you cancel between 60 days and 2 days before check-in, you will get a full refund. This will be reimbursed on the check-in date of your original booking. All you have to do is let us know.
Airhouses has always maintained the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene. But now we've made it even more rigorous. What's more, our team are getting ongoing training in enhanced hygiene protocols.
To be extra safe, we've increased our cleaning schedule of public areas such as the Farm Shop and Play Den.
All of our lodges have keyless entry systems. These are obviously disinfected before your arrival as is everything else in your lodge.
Hot tubs will be checked twice a day as usual. We'd be really grateful if you could leave the hot tub once you see a team member starting their checks and always keep a safe distance from any of our team.
All of our team will be carefully following the Government's personal hygiene guidelines.
All team members are local. However, if they or a member of their family have been on holiday abroad, they will not work at Airhouses for the recommended 14 days.
Instead of our usual personal welcome, you will now be greeted by a phone call to your lodge. You will also be given a list of numbers that you can call if you need anything.
We've put various measures in place to make sure that you don't need to interact with anyone during your visit if you don't want to.
For the time being, we will no longer provide the complimentary welcome breakfast basket of fresh fruit, sausages etc. However, you can order meat in advance online. When you arrive, this will be ready and waiting for you in your fridge, vacuum packed for extra safety. All meat is from our local butcher and we would ask that you order at least one week in advance.
Instead of the breakfast basket, we have increased the contents of your welcome pack of other treats such biscuits, cake and chocolate etc.
We have ordered extra frozen meals for our shop. The fridge will also be stocked up with as much cheese, butter and eggs as possible.
Any food deliveries you would like to make from Tesco, Sainsburys etc, now need to be booked a week in advance. We've asked Tesco to leave orders outside of your lodge and collect the baskets at a later date. When ordering food deliveries on line we suggest that you put a note asking for the deliveries to be left outside your door. For more information on food locally click here.
We really hope that the above reassures you, but please do get in touch if you have any questions. We're here to help and look forward to you visiting Airhouses.
