Giacoppazzi’s
Award winning ice-cream in a lovely seaside town! Giacoppazzi’s is a Scottish Borders gem. They run an award winning fish and chip and ice-cream parlour and it really is worth the trip! They are in Eyemouth, a historic fishing town on the Scottish Borders coast, about 50 mins from Airhouses. It began when Lorenzo Giacopazzi left Italy for American in 1898 but landed in Scotland and decided to stay. Lucky for us as he and his descendents make the best ice-cream! With a Cherry On Top, Earlston
Located on Earlston high street about 20 mins from Airhouses Cherry on Top is the new kid on the block. A hughly welcome addition this shop really has something for everyone! Candy Floss, Retro Sweets, Waffles and gorgeous ice-creams with so many toppings! Have a look at them here.
Maid By Marion, Melrose
A gem of a shop for all your sweet treat needs. Marion makes delicious cakes and traybake as well as selling a selection of Doddington Dairy Ice-creams. Doddington is just over the border in Northumberland and makes truly impressive cheese and ice-cream in their family run dairy. Maid in Marion keep the ice-cream selection simple and traditional, but it does not disappoint.
