It gives access to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk where all of Scotland’s key family history records are accessible and where, most importantly, you will find people to help you.

There are lots of places connected with names from the Borders, in the Borders, which you can visit such as Bowhill, Abbotsford, Smailholm Tower all relating to the name Scott. Ferniehurst Castle, Floors Castle and Jedburgh Abbey, relating to Kerr are just a few examples.
